Tasmania is home to a quarter of Australia's' whisky producers including Australia's largest distiller of single malt whisky and Australia's southernmost distillery. Taste the legacy on board Spirit of Tasmania in May and June as a part of our Flavours of Tassie showcase which features over 25 Tasmanian food and beverage suppliers, including 3 prestigious distilleries. Included in our Flavours of Tasmania showcase of more than 25 Tasmanian food and beverage suppliers are two boutique breweries and a new cidery! Irish stout, American pale ale, or a light crisp pear cider, whatever your taste buds prefer read on to find out more about these Tasmanian local brews and when you can expect to see them on board during May and June.

As a part of our Flavours of Tassie initiative we will be showcasing over 25 Tasmanian gourmet food and beverage suppliers, including a selection of 9 premium wine producers. From Home Hills' award winning Pinot Noir to Jansz Tasmania's' traditional champenoise méthod sparkling wines the variety and quality of these cold climate wines is sure to impress. Footy fans enjoyed a range of pre-match activities at the North Melbourne Vs Collingwood AFL match last Sunday, including roaming stilt walkers wearing large cardboard Spirit of Tasmania ships and chocolate treats from the Easter Bunny, but the biggest surprise was Spirit of Tasmania's flash mob!
