Spirit of Tasmania's window display at Travelscene, St
Kilda (Victoria) came to life within minutes of its inception when
dogs in residence Rosie and Daisy surprised owner, Diane Flett by
taking an instant liking to the Retriever featured in the
Spirit imagery.
Ironically, the Spirit's new advertising campaign
encourages travellers to bring their dog along for "One of
Australia's great journeys" and features a cream Retriever eagerly
peering out of a 4WD's window whilst on holiday in Tasmania.
Rosie and Daisy created a lot of attention and passers by were
most surprised to learn it was not a premeditated publicity
stunt.
Spirit's advertising reach has now successfully
extended to include canines!
