Spirit of
Tasmania is celebrating the dry docking of Spirit of Tasmania II by
introducing exclusive day sailings at half the regular retail
price.
Set sail on Spirit for just $58 per person on day sailings
between Devonport to Melbourne only.
Ms Melindy Green, Director Marketing and Communications said
usually day sailings are only available during periods of high
demand. However during dry dock exclusive day sailings will be
available for just three weeks at this special price.
"Passengers who take advantage of this special offer will enjoy
the convenience, reliability and superb experience of our unique
mid year day sailing service," she said.
"Spirit of Tasmania offers passengers an unparalleled travelling
experience with the freedom to take their own vehicle and the
convenience to bring along unlimited luggage.
"There is no better way to take a touring holiday through
Victoria than by taking your own vehicle and it is far more cost
effective than hiring a car."
Ms Green said on 27 July 2008 Spirit of Tasmania II will depart
Devonport bound for Garden Island, New South Wales, where it will
undergo routine extensive external cleaning and mechanical
upgrades.
During this period Spirit of Tasmania will be conducting day
sailings between Devonport and Melbourne departing at 9am, and
night sailings between Melbourne and Devonport departing at
9pm.
