How to measure your car and caravan/trailer...
The total cost for your car and caravan or trailer is determined by measuring the overall length of both units. To work out the cost, measure the distance from the front of the car (including the bulbar) to the back of your caravan or trailer
.

Vehicle lengths are rounded up to the next whole metre. For example if your car and caravan or motorhome equals a total of 10.1 metres, it would be classed as 11 metres.

The prices listed include the deduction of the Bass Strait Passenger Vehicle Equalisation Scheme rebate of $180 for a standard car and trailer and $360 for a standard car towing a caravan or a motorhome/campervan.

Terms and conditions for vehicle carriage;
