movements compared to the same time the previous year.
Total number of bookings made for the new service
already exceeds total number of passenger movements
in the 2001/02 financial year (348,000) by 28,000.

Tasmanian Premier Jim Bacon announces Spirit of Tasmania
has taken a record 500,000th booking for the 2002/03
financial year. Passenger numbers are up 153,000 or
44% above the previous year as a whole.

Steps charity as part of Lost Time to Injury program
- crew achieved 60 days LTI free.

Crew of Spirit of Tasmania II donates $2000 to Tasmanian
Fire Service as part of Lost Time to Injury program
