Hundreds of
people will be part of Spirit of Tasmania III's
first passenger sailing today when it sails
from Hobart to Devonport.
The vessel
is scheduled to depart Macquarie Number 6 Wharf at
8.00am and arrive into Devonport at 8.00pm with over
500 passengers booked on the sold-out voyage.
Passengers
will enjoy a unique experience as they sail up Tasmania's
East Coast enjoying a delicious brunch and dinner
in the onboard restaurant, as well as live entertainment
and movies.
Simone Ferrier,
Spirit of Tasmania's Manager Corporate
Communications, said the sailing would provide the
opportunity to gather feedback from passengers.
"Passengers
will be able to trial the refurbished ship and the
new facilities that were constructed while the ship
was berthed in Hobart during the past two months,"
said Ms Ferrier. "I'm sure they'll be happy
with what we've developed."
