Found on spirit for National IQ Pre-Test
Spirit
Of Tasmania II will feature tonight on Channel
Nine's National IQ test after fifty passengers participated
in a pre-test onboard earlier this month.
The program
is expected to attract millions of viewers around
Australia after last year's audience numbers peaked
at over 2.7 million.
Manager Corporate
Communications Simone Ferrier said she was excited
about Spirit of Tasmania's involvement with
Channel Nine in the pre-testing of the program.
"The passengers
had a great time being involved. It was purely
voluntary and Channel Nine gave out prizes for participants
during the day sailing.
"It is fantastic
to be able to bring together national exposure for
the company and the Tasmanian Tourism Industry, which
is now booming all year round."
The exposure
generated for Spirit of Tasmania will be
timely for the launch of the company's third vessel,
Spirit of Tasmania III in mid January.
The vessel
will provide travellers the opportunity of sailing
between Sydney and Devonport six times a week.
Ms Ferrier
also said the exposure tonight would significantly
compliment the company's national advertising, sales
and public relations efforts.
