Spirit
of Tasmania will be carrying all participants
of the Great Endeavour Car Rally travelling to Tasmania
this week.
Two hundred
and eighty-one passengers and 112 cars will arrive
in Devonport on the Melbourne service this Sunday
morning, 17 July, on Spirit of Tasmania I .
The Great Endeavour
Car Rally is an event coordinated by the Endeavour
Foundation, a Queensland based organisation supporting
people with intellectual disabilities.
The rally started
in Kingaroy, Queensland, on 13 July, and then heads
down to visit north, west and east Tasmania before
finishing in Coffs Harbour, Queensland, on 23 July.
The Great Endeavour
has always prided itself as the most affordable charity
motoring event in Australia, and entries have been
received from as far as Townsville in North Queensland
to Sale in Victoria.
"We are happy
to assist The Great Endeavour Rally participants to
travel to Tasmania," said Spirit of Tasmania
CEO Peter Simmons today.
Upon arrival
