The sale of Spirit of Tasmania III was settled yesterday (6 September) in line with the memorandum of agreement signed between TT-Line Company Pty Ltd and Corsica Ferries.

Sale details were finalised and the sale completed at 12.45 pm in Melbourne.

Spirit of Tasmania III will be renamed Mega Express Four and will operate under the Italian flag registered in Genoa.

The vessel is expected to depart Australia for its new European home in the next couple of days.
