In line with Public Health advice only passengers travelling from low risk areas can book a Day Ticket, Recliner, Female or Male Shared Cabin, or Deluxe Cabin. Passengers travelling from high or medium risk areas, will need to book a Private Cabin located in a designated area of the vessel, this includes passengers who have been to a listed medium or high risk premise in the 14 days prior to travel.
Please note: regardless of the fare type purchased (Flexi Fare, Spirit Fare, Red Hot Deal Fare), if the area you are travelling from changes from a low risk area to a medium or high risk area in the time between making your booking and your departure date, you will be required to amend your ticket to a Private Cabin at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure time, or we will offer you a refund. Cabin upgrades will be at your own expense. If there is no availability of Private Cabins, we will amend your booking to another suitable sailing or offer you a refund.
In line with Public Health advice and for the health and wellbeing of all passengers and staff in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic Spirit of Tasmania may close its on board facilities as required. This includes shared accommodation types including the Recliner Lounge and Female and Male Shared Cabins. On these sailings passengers who have booked a Female or Male Shared Cabin or a Recliner will need to upgrade to a Private Cabin at their own expense (subject to availability). If there is no availability of Private Cabins, we will amend your booking to another suitable sailing or offer you a refund.

Please note: In the event that you need to amend or cancel your travel plans as a result of border restrictions, amendment and cancellation fees on existing bookings will be waived.
If an amendment is made and there is an increase in the fare price it will be payable at the time of change.
Online amendments and cancellations are available up to 3 hours prior to your scheduled departure time.
