Spirit of Tasmania I and II update
Update 10:47am 14 January 2016
As a result of the damage to Spirit of Tasmania II’s internal loading ramp caused by extreme winds in Melbourne yesterday, the vessel is unable to operate until further notice.
In the interim, Spirit of Tasmania I will operate a double sailing schedule – starting tonight (14 January) – to cover the absence of Spirit of Tasmania II while the vessel is repaired.
Tonight’s DPO-MEL sailing (14 January), which was with Spirit of Tasmania II, has been cancelled.
Passengers that are booked to travel on this sailing will be provided with a full refund for this sailing and where applicable the return voyage.
For passengers who need to return home to Melbourne, we have rescheduled tonight’s night sailing to a day sailing tomorrow. This sailing will depart Devonport at 9.00am on 15 January. Passengers have automatically been moved to this day sailing and no further action is required by passengers. Check-in for this sailing will commence at 6.00am and close at 8.15am.
To all other passengers, the sailing is cancelled and refunds will be processed automatically. We apologise for the cancellation but hope you can travel with us in the near future. Please check our website for availability to reschedule your travel.
