BEFORE YOU BOOK

Booking a kennel

Before booking, check that your pet is permitted to travel, as only certain animals are allowed.

Kennel size will be allocated on arrival. Kennel charges apply during the booking process.

Only one pet per kennel is permitted, with the exception of mothers travelling with their offspring.

Before travelling:

Note: To support the safety and wellbeing of our crew, Pet Attendants and crew members are not permitted to handle, lift or place pets into kennels on behalf of passengers.

BOARDING PROCESS

Accessing the kennels

When boarding, bring your pet to the kennel area on Deck 7 and settle them into their allocated kennel.

ONBOARD CARE

During the voyage

To help keep pets calm, safe and secure, the kennel area is accessible only to crew and Pet Attendants during the journey.

Crew conduct routine welfare checks during the journey.

In exceptional circumstances, access may be permitted at the crew’s discretion if deemed necessary and appropriate.

If your pet requires special assistance during the voyage due to a pre-determined condition, a valid veterinary certificate must be provided at least 72 hours prior to travel. Approved requests will allow you to attend to your pet at designated times, escorted by a crew member.

To make a request, contact our Customer Contact Centre on 1800 634 906.
