Applications are being sought for Customer Contact Centre Consultants – Part Time (Fixed Term) in the Sales & Marketing Department, Devonport.
The Role:
Our team of Customer Contact Centre Consultants provide a single first point of contact for Spirit of Tasmania travel enquiries.
We are looking for energetic and customer focused people to join our inbound Customer Contact Centre based in the Devonport office.  Please note this is not a hybrid position.
You will work to identify customer needs with a focus on converting enquiries into sales and providing ongoing support to passengers post booking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a consistent and high quality service standard to our customers;
- Responding to customer enquiries over the phone and by email;
- Using customer service and sales skills to optimise all opportunities of each customer contact;
- Providing support and assistance for customers to book and manage bookings online via our website;
- Identifying customer needs and providing suitable recommendations and travel solutions with the aim of converting customer enquiries to bookings;
- Referring other sales opportunities to appropriate sales personnel, such as freight, groups and special events; and
- Our Contact Centre operates Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm and you will be required to participate in a roster which includes one Saturday shift in every 3 week roster.

- You should have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy skills and enjoy working in high energy, fast-paced team environments.
- Previous experience working in a customer contact/call centre environment with sales experience is desired however not essential.
