Game on! JackJumpers partner with Spirit of Tasmania

The Tasmania JackJumpers and Spirit of Tasmania are pleased to announce a new partnership with Spirit of Tasmania becoming a principal partner of the Hungry Jack’s NBL’s newest club.

The new three-year partnership was announced today on board Spirit of Tasmania I in Devonport as the Tasmania JackJumpers prepare to make their debut in the NBL in October.

Tasmania JackJumpers Chief Executive Simon Brookhouse said: “We’ve said from day one that Tasmanian brands are really important to us as we build the JackJumpers, and Spirit of Tasmania is an iconic Tasmanian brand.

“We both want to promote this great state across Australia and the rest of the world and build something truly special that all Tasmanians can be proud of. We are delighted to welcome Spirit of Tasmania to the JackJumpers family and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Spirit of Tasmania CEO Bernard Dwyer said: “We are confident the Tasmania JackJumpers will have a major impact when they enter the NBL and will continue to go from strength to strength over the term of our partnership.

“We are pleased to be involved at the inception of this exciting team and will work closely with the JackJumpers to encourage NBL fans to travel to Tasmania to watch one of the world’s great basketball leagues.

“Spirit of Tasmania is a major player in the state’s tourism sector, and the broader economy, bringing many thousands of visitors to Tasmania every year. It is our core business, so any initiative that has the potential to bring more people to the state through marketing exposure can only be a positive for us and the Tasmanian tourism sector which has endured a difficult and challenging 12 months.”
