The Spirit of Tasmania vessels will operate Bass Strait crossings today (10 June) following the decision by TasPorts to reopen the Port of Devonport.

Spirit of Tasmania will operate double sailings on Saturday 11 June and Sunday 12 June to clear the backlog of passengers in Victoria and Tasmania subject to the Port of Devonport being reopened.

The continuing closure of the Port of Devonport because of heavy rains and debris in the Mersey River has meant tonight’s (7 June) Spirit of Tasmania I and II sailings have been cancelled.
Spirit of Tasmania II update – 16 January 6.18pm
Spirit of Tasmania II will recommence sailing tomorrow (Sunday 17 January) after repairs were completed and approved by all relevant authorities.
