This self-drive tour takes you from Jamieson along the Mansfield- Woods Point Rd, over the Great Dividing Range to Gippsland, with 4WD side tours that show historic points of interest, old township sites and gold mine relics from a bygone era.

Stop off at sites such as the Old Star of the West Mining site for evidence of mullock heaps, adits, and furnace sites, and the historic Macks Creek Settlement which boasted 22 buildings and a post office in the 1860s.
