Originally home to Tasmania’s main training camp during the Second World War, this site housed as many as 2,400 trainees in 1941. Now, it’s the location of Brighton’s war memorial, erected in 2015. The memorial is accompanied by a large, open grassed reserve suitable for recreational purposes.
One of Australia’s most iconic travel experiences, Spirit of Tasmania makes travelling across Bass Strait flexible, convenient and easy.
