Ashlan Farm – Hilltop Cottage Farmstay is located approximately two hours from Melbourne and is the perfect base to explore or wake up to the sound of birdsong. Be mesmerised by night sky and lose yourself with the sounds and smells of nature. It’s the perfect spot to de-stress and take in the smells and the sights of country living.

The property is located in the tiny hamlet of Boho South and is also a great base to explore the country towns and villages of Strathbogie, Euroa, Violet Town, Benalla and Mansfield.

Hilltop is a three-bedroom cottage that sleeps six. Rooms consist of a king, queen and two king singles. The house is fully self-contained and due to location, you will need to bring all supplies.

After a day of exploring, retreat back to cottage and take in the amazing views or be mesmerised by the night sky.

Up on the tableland the temperature is 4-5 degrees lower than those down lower. In summer cool of in the refreshing water at Polly McQuinns weir or in winter keep warm by relaxing by the wood heater.

Hilltop Cottage has views of the orchard, Mt Separation, Mt Wombat and surrounding farmland.

Access to the property is via approximately two kilometres of unsealed road.
