At the Bay gives you such a spectacular panoramic view of the bay and the mountains that you would be forgiven for thinking you had borrowed the set of a Bond film to stay in. This is a serious luxury here.
Both bedrooms have a king-size bed, one of which can be configured to two singles if you prefer. Every room has its own controllable air conditioning, and the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There are in fact two bathrooms, with rainhead showers, heated towel rails and, in cooler months, underfloor heating as well. As well as a laundry there is a fully equipped kitchen and, with the aid of a ramp from the car park to the back door, the whole property is wheelchair accessible.
This property is an adults-only retreat and not suitable for infants or young children, however, people over the age of 12 are very welcome.
There is a television in every room, wireless internet throughout and is only a couple of hundred metres from the shops and a good café. If you are doing your own cooking, you’ll appreciate the modern kitchen with its oven and hobs, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave as well as plenty of work space. The dining and lounge area has a 180-degree view of the bay and the mountains through floor-to-almost-ceiling windows.
One of Australia’s most iconic travel experiences, Spirit of Tasmania makes travelling across Bass Strait flexible, convenient and easy.
