Ballarat Aviation Museum is located within the grounds of the Ballarat Aerodrome. Ballarat Aerodrome was a Royal Australian Air Force base during World War Two for the No.1 Wireless and Air Gunners school, and post war the School of Radio. The museum is dedicated to the history of aviation. It has a great collection of aircraft, engines, aviation radios, cameras and aviation memorabilia. It also includes a display dedicated to the No.1 Wireless and Air Gunners School.
