Join in for a full-day spoon carving workshop where you will learn to carve a cooking spoon from a greenwood blank by the open fire in the studio.
Learn safe hand-carving techniques to create your own spoon to take home and use. You will learn about wood selection, tool selection and maintenance and how to oil and finish your spoon.
All carving tools, materials and morning tea are provided. Bring your own lunch.
You must be 14 years or older to do the workshop. You must wear enclosed shoes during the workshop. The workshop is limited to eight people. Minimum three people for the workshop to run. More info on booking page.
