Australia’s highest moonshine distillery. Hidden up in the backlots of Dinner Plain Alpine Village, Big Muster Distilling Co. offers bespoke moonshines including Swindlers Gold, their baked apple moonshine, with ingredients totally sourced from Alpine, including apples from the famous Nightingales orchard in Wandiligong.

A distillery door is open where you can sample their moonshines as well as the regions best in whiskey’s and gin’s.

The restaurant is open on specific days in the green season and most days in the white season.

Catering for weddings and conferences is another option and working in with accommodation providers complete packages are available.

Coming in 2025 is Harro’s Prohibition Bar which will be available for bookings offering Moonshine/Gin or Whiskey pairings with local produce. A bookable product only suitable for a maximum of three adults at a time.

Other facilities include dart board’s a pool table and large screen televisions and a Karaoke machine.

They are dog friendly outside of food serving hours (conditions apply).
