Brett Whiteley: Inside the Studio

More Information

Drawn from the collections of the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Brett Whiteley Studio, ‘Brett Whiteley: Inside the Studio’ presents a selection of Whiteley’s works across various media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, collage and ceramics.

Featuring iconic paintings and early abstractions alongside rarely seen archival photographs depicting Whiteley at work (and sometimes at play) in studios across London, New York and Sydney, Inside the Studio offers a glimpse into Whiteley’s creative world and considers the role of his studio spaces in the scale and context of his works and an extension of his artistic identity.
