Looking for luxury group accommodation in Victoria?
Welcome to Campbell House 1882 — a magnificent heritage mansion ideal for family reunions, special celebrations, or group getaways. Nestled in Castlemaine, this beautifully restored property combines timeless elegance with modern comforts for an unforgettable stay.
Built in the 1800s by Scottish settler Andrew Campbell, the mansion has a romantic and tragic past. Inspired by his deep love for the daughter of poet Robert Burns, Campbell built the home for her. Sadly, she passed away just two years after arriving in Castlemaine, and he lived out his life in the home they were meant to share.
Today, Campbell House is the largest and grandest property in the Castlemaine Boutique Accommodation collection. Renovated with care, it’s ready to host your next group retreat or family holiday.
Spacious and stylish for up to 18 guests. With 9 well-appointed bedrooms, flexible bedding, and 3 bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 18–20 guests. Generous living and dining areas provide space for everyone to connect and relax.
Heritage charm meets modern convenience. Expect original fireplaces, chandeliers, and antique touches, alongside central heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen. The lush private garden — complete with a majestic palm tree — is perfect for relaxing or capturing group memories.
Come and experience the charm, history, and luxury of Campbell House for yourself.
