Cascade Cottage is a two-bedroom refurbished miner’s cottage providing cosy accommodation in the historic tin mining town of Derby, North East Tasmania. Cascade Cottage has room for 11 guests over three buildings on the property. Derby is approximately a 90-minute drive from Launceston, and a one-hour drive from St Helens, in Tasmania’s beautiful North East.

Derby is a great place to stay providing a hub from which to holiday, tour, and experience all that North East Tasmania has to offer. Cascade Cottage is approximately 400m from the Blue Derby Mountain Bike trailhead and an easy walk to cafes and shops on Derby’s Main Street.

Cascade Cottage has ample secure storage for bikes, a workbench and stand, some tools, and a wash bay adjacent to the storage area.

The cottage is located on Cascade Dam Road overlooking the beautiful Cascade Forest where the Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails are. Additional MTB trails include the Atlas and Blue Tier trails, Hollybank and George Town Trails.
