Echo Bend Camping Park established in 1988 is a unique bush setting camping ground with an abundance of bird and wild life to observe.
Situated in East Gippsland the camp adjoins The Mitchell River National Park. There are numerus walking tracks to explore one hour-Den of Nargun, three hour -Billy Goat Bend and Angusvale-overnight.
They have large powered, unpowered sites for caravans, camper vans, tents or swags. Accommodation can also be provided in On-site Caravans. The grounds are always kept mowed with grassy, shady areas and can boast very clean amenities, with lovely hot showers. They can accommodate large groups, school camps, allow campfires in provided fire drums and are pet friendly.
There is a unique Bark Hut /kiosk-tearoom which opens weekends and all public holidays. It can provide you with tea and scones, ice-creams, cold drinks, pies/pasties and a great variety of crafts and souvenirs.
Annually they invite campers to take part in some exciting activities such as Billy Boiling Comp, Easter Bunny Walk and decorating your tent.
Nearby is a golf course, distillery and winery. Drives to some lovely areas to explore in the region such as Metung, Paynesville, Lakes Entrance and much more.
