The Eildon Pondage Walk around the lower pondage is flat and easy to navigate. It’s a perfect walk for beginner hikers or those with little ones in tow. It is also a popular cycling loop.
The six kilometre circuit starts from Eildon Lions Park and takes about an hour to complete, but you can jump onto the trail from almost any of the pondage visitor areas along the waterfront.
On your circuit you’ll find plenty of Instagram worthy shots, passing two picturesque jetties and crossing over the Goulburn Valley Highway Bridge which overlooks the Eildon Dam Wall in the distance.
