The Freycinet Experience Walk is the original four day journey along the stunning Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania’s East Coast.
Set against the dramatic granite backdrop of the pink-hued Hazard Mountains, guests walk through rich coastal forests and discover the purest of white beaches including the world-renowned Wineglass Bay.
Led by engaging nature-guiding professionals, guests travel by boat into remote and rarely explored corners of the Freycinet National Park. Here they discover diverse marine and wildlife, nesting lagoons, wildflowers and other unique flora.
A variety of abilities are catered for: guests walk between 24 and 37 kilometres and can choose between challenging mountain climbs or more leisurely coastal routes. Guests travel light needing only to carry a small day-pack for their lunch and camera.
A welcomed treat on a four-day hike, each evening guests return to the award-winning Friendly Beaches Lodge. Here, guests enjoy stunning architecture, personalised service and private rooms with comfortable beds, deep baths and secluded bush-side balconies. Exclusively for the use of each group (max ten guests), this intimate atmosphere allows for relaxation and re-connection.
Lodge hosts cater all meals, working with the very best Tasmanian produce, complemented by the finest of local wines and spirits.
