Visiting Hepburn Shire across the New Year break? Join in the fun of the popular Glenlyon Sports Day, which is held annually on New Year’s Day at gorgeous Glenlyon Reserve. All proceeds raised go to Daylesford and surrounding district hospitals, charities and youth groups.

The day consists of an array of quirky sporting events and competitions, including woodchopping, mineral water drinking, Bullboar eating, children’s foot races, gum boot throwing, and much more.

There will also be live entertainment on the day from the Daylesford and District Municipal Band and Daylesford Scottish Pipe Band.
