Goulburn Fishing Festival

More Information

Victorian Fisheries Authority will host a one-day recreational fishing festival in the township of Eildon. The festival is an annual event to celebrate the start of the trout fishing season and promote Eildon as a fishing destination.

Families and young fishers will be given the opportunity to participate in supervised free fishing events, free tours of the nearby Snobs Creek fish hatchery and enjoy free entertainment at a central staging point.

The festival will include fishing industry traders, exhibitors and local angling clubs with set up stalls and exhibits for attendees. Prominent recreational fishing celebrities and personalities will hold open forums to discuss different methods, tactics and styles and instruct attendees how to catch more fish.
