More Information

A classic re-imagined. A hotel experience like no other.

Welcome to Hara House, Bright’s only boutique hotel. Picture the perfect stay behind your eyes, season with mid-century luxe finishings, add a massage before dinner, a sun-lounger by the pool and an icy cocktail in hand – all of this and more awaits you at Hara House.

Hara House offers 20 guest rooms and two luxury courtyard suites featuring classic exposed bricks; subtle lighting; wood veneer accents; gloriously patterned tiles; brilliant Utopia Goods graphic elements and art representing nature and individual expression.

Pepperberry, Hara House’s onsite restaurant offers a five-star retro-inspired menu featuring local produce and native Australian ingredients. Our wine list is a showcase of local Alpine Valley, Beechworth and King Valley cool climate varieties.

Enjoy the hotel’s retro pool vibe by sipping artisan cocktails from your sun lounger or enjoying breakfast on the terrace. Whether it’s a personal moment immersed in nature, or human connection across a shared table, Hara House is all about creating individualised guest experiences that are memorable and meaningful.

Hara House is a 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne, a base for exploring all that Victoria’s High Country has to offer. Surrounded by the majesty of nature in all its forms, Hara House sets a new standard for style and comfort.
