A beautiful, secluded, and often missed gem of the Freycinet Peninsula. Hazards Beach sits inside Great Oyster Bay, opposite Wineglass Bay.
The beach itself is every bit as beautiful as Wineglass Bay with squeaky clean white silica sand and pristine aquamarine water to swim in.
You can walk directly to this beach via the Hazards Beach walking track, as part of the Peninsula Walk or the Wineglass Bay / Hazards Beach circuit (locals call it the Isthmus Track).
Pack plenty to drink and eat and spend the day exploring; duck across to Wineglass Bay, follow the coast to Cooks Beach, or just spend the day enjoying the serenity.
One of Australia’s most iconic travel experiences, Spirit of Tasmania makes travelling across Bass Strait flexible, convenient and easy.
