The Jamieson Museum, housed in the old Jamieson Courthouse, is maintained by the Jamieson and District Historical Society and is open on weekends between Melbourne Cup weekend and Easter.
Picturesque Jamieson is a quaint, historic town in the Victorian High Country. It was well known in the late 1800’s as a gold mining supply town and had many bars, bakeries and even two breweries with a lively community.
Well worth a visit to view the historic display and relics from a bygone age.
