Latrobe Visitor Information Centre

More Information

The Latrobe Visitor Information Centre is located in the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (next to the Traralgon Library). Friendly staff and volunteers can assist you with information on the Latrobe Valley and the greater Gippsland region including accommodation, events, dining, attractions and any general queries you may have.

The Latrobe Valley is a region of surprising contrasts with vibrant towns and peaceful villages, tranquil national parks and picturesque rail trails. Sample award-winning food and wine, enjoy shopping in boutiques, major retailers or at a weekend market. See a show, wander through a gallery or museum, get out on the water or take to the skies.

The centre is wheelchair and pram-friendly with lifts, changing places toilet, disabled and RV/long vehicle parking. On the second level, you can view artworks on loan from the Latrobe Regional Gallery. Located at the front of the building is a bike rack and drinking fountain.

The Latrobe Visitor Information Centre is open seven days a week (except Christmas Day and ANZAC Day) stocking a range of local maps and brochures as well as information on other regions throughout Victoria. They also offer Australian and locally made gifts and produce.
