Layers, an exhibition of paintings by Ben Winspear.

The world is made up of layers – layers of life – layers of time, layers of perception, sky, then sand, then sea. An interior – a room, the window, the garden. One colour upon anther – one brush stroke upon another – one layer upon another.

This collection of works by Ben Winspear have been made drawing on inspirations, the feeling and impressions of the Lon and its surrounds as he seeks to explore some of the layers that surrounds everyone, both physically and perceptually.
