Leaghur State Park

More Information

Leaghur State Park protects some of the most significant Black Box wetland and woodland communities in Victoria. The park is on the Loddon River floodplain in the state’s north west. Flooding can occur in winter and spring, replenishing the park with rich, stunning wetlands and vigorous growth. Flooding is essential for the health of Black Box communities.

Take a leisurely drive, enjoy a picnic or go for a pleasant bushwalk.

Conditions can change in parks for many reasons. For the latest information on changes to local conditions, please visit the relevant park page on the Parks Victoria website.

Be bushfire ready in the great outdoors. Refer to the Bushfire Safety section on the Parks Victoria website for tips on how to stay safe.
