Lorne Bush House Cottages and Eco Retreats are a delightful blend of bush and beach, nestled amongst the gum trees of Lorne’s forested backdrop, yet only three minutes drive to the Great Ocean Road, magnificent beaches, cosmopolitan restaurants and Lorne’s bustling shopping village.

A variety of accommodation is on offer here. They have five, two bed room ,fully self- contained cottages with double spa, wood fire and panoramic views and a three bedroom Bush House for the extended family or for two or more families to share. The Bush House is all on the one level, fully self contained with two bathrooms and two toilets. It has a cosy, colonial feel, and is set amongst the gum trees.

The Eco Retreats are perfect for the experience seekers. They offer classy camping in a canvas covered steel frame on elevated floors, with a deluxe bed, private ensuite, kitchenette, smart television, electric heating, barbecue and deck with great bush views.

A feature of the property is the abundant friendly native birds and wildlife. Kangaroo are frequently seen grazing in front of the cottages and retreats and koala seen in the trees. When weather permits a private outdoor fire pit is available at all cottages and the Bush House and a communal one is available for the Eco Retreats.

  • Provide grabrails provided adjacent to the toilet
  • Have rooms which are interconnecting
  • Provide room for hoist under the bed (minimum 100mm required to store a hoist)
  • Have a place to store medical equipment (eg oxygen)
