At Waterfall Gully Road, with McLaren Dam and the Arthurs Seat State Park behind you, turn right and head downhill to Goolgowie Street. This walk is mainly through the South Rosebud residential area so follow the Blue Wren Two Bays Walking Track symbols on the power poles to navigate. Follow Goolgowie Street to Avalon Drive, where the track enters the small but pretty Goolgowie Bushland Reserve. Walk along the boardwalk and bush path to comes out beside a playground and dog park in Yambill Avenue. Turn right and follow the street south to Duells Road, where you turn left and walk uphill to the intersection of Gardens Road.
This walk can be done in either direction or as part of the longer 26km Two Bays Walking Track (identified by a circular symbol displaying a Blue Wren seen on signage along the track). It joins the Arthurs Seat to McLaren Dam Walk in the north to the Stefanie Rennick walk in the south.
