Guided and self-guided tours take you through the Pioneer Homestead. This 1880s homestead is furnished with items from the homes of descendants of the pioneer families. The timber slab kitchen contains many household items of the era. Plus they have their own Blacksmiths shop, woodturning and vintage machinery.

Mont De Lancey homestead is set in lawns graced by beautiful trees including a magnificent spreading oak which has recently been listed on the National Trust Register of Significant Trees. Whether it be the rich rustic colours of autumn or come spring it’s blossom time, the white and pink of the flowering cherries and the purple of the lilacs make a stunning setting.
Take a step back in time with a visit to the Museum to appreciate the working and social life of the pioneer families displayed in a comprehensive collection of photographs and artefacts. The cafe serves great coffee and light meals.
