The Robert Mactier statue is situated in the Victoria Cross Memorial Garden in Hogan Street in Tatura and was unveiled in October 2014.
It acknowledges the bravery for which Private Mactier made the ultimate sacrifice and was thus posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross in 1918. Private Mactier was born and raised in Tatura.
