Sault Restaurant is set behind a playing fountain in a beautiful two-storey country house, giving visitors the impression that they are deep within the heart of rural France. It is only when a kangaroo bounds into sight across a distant paddock that you realise you are well and truly in Australia.
Taking its name from a French town famed for its lavender. Sault is set on 120 acres surrounded by the Wombat State forest, home to our own kitchen garden, beehives and seasonal flower fields.
They have an extensive wine list showcasing beautiful wines from the region along with bespoke cocktails and stunning local gins. Enjoy seasonally inspired menus that feature fresh herbs and veggies from Sault’s very own kitchen garden, along with the freshest regional produce sourced to assist in lessening their carbon footprint. Sault offers three, four of seven courses to enjoy tastes of the region. They have a seven course plant based menu!
Sault also has a beautiful wedding barn overlooking their lake, and during the summer months when the lavender and sunflower fields are in full bloom, it is truly the region’s most breathtaking wedding venue.
