Shelford Duck Race

The Shelford Duck Race is an annual event that offers a range of entertainment for people of all ages. The highlight of the day is the Duck Race, when 1500 rubber ducks make their way down the lovely Leigh River, with the first 10 across the line winning their owners a share in all the prizes.

This quiet country town comes alive with thousands of patrons converging on the Shelford Recreation Reserve to enjoy the live music, kid’s rides, demonstrations, craft stalls and stacks of food vendors. Wander the Show and Shine and vote for your favourite car in the Peoples’ Choice award.
