South Jawbone Peak is located in the Cathedral Range State Park and can be accessed by a 3.5km grade 3 return hike from the Jawbone Car Park.
Follow the Jawbone Creek Track from the car park until you reach the Farmyard where you will see the signposted South Jawbone Track. This will lead you to the peak for some sweeping views of the ridgeline and state park below.
This track has some short steep sections and a few obstacles; some bushwalking experience recommended.
One of Australia’s most iconic travel experiences, Spirit of Tasmania makes travelling across Bass Strait flexible, convenient and easy.
