The Tallangatta Visitor Information Centre is situated in The Triangles Park, right in the heart of the Tallangatta township.

Filled with a wide variety of resources including brochures, history boards, and artifacts displayed in glass cabinet, the centre is a great first stop to help you plan your stay and explore Tallangatta, Lake Hume, and the surrounding valleys and parklands.

Inside, you’ll find engaging information boards on local history, including The Town That Moved, as well information on Sandy the War Horse, whose statue stands near the entrance. There are artifacts displayed in cabinets highlighting the area’s unique environment. A looping video presentation plays on the centre’s screen to further enrich your visit and an e-bike charging pole.

This is an unmanned facility, perfect for self-guided discovery. The centre is fully accessible, with automatic sliding doors.
