More Information

The Berry Dairy is a family-owned pick-your-own strawberry farm and café located on a working dairy property just outside Maffra in beautiful Gippsland. Open seasonally from October to May, it’s a hands-on, paddock-to-plate experience designed for families, foodies, and anyone looking to reconnect with where their food comes from.

Set across lush green paddocks, the farm is home to 20,000 spray-free strawberry plants, a petting zoo filled with friendly animals, and a rustic café serving up house-made strawberry treats, local produce menu, and real fruit strawberry ice cream made with their own strawberries. The playground and wide-open spaces make it ideal for kids to explore while grown-ups relax with a local wine or strawberry cocktail in hand. There is also a farmyard petting zoo, with miniature goats, chickens, ducks, lambs, calves and a friendly alpaca. It is also dog friendly.

The Berry Dairy has a strong focus on sustainability, with solar power, recycled water, and a zero-waste approach to strawberries, every berry gets used, either in a punnet or into jam, liqueur, beer or ice cream.

Whether you are planning a day trip with the kids or seeking a fresh Gippsland food experience, The Berry Dairy is a sweet and simple way to enjoy the best of the region, grown and served with care.
