For over 145 years, racegoers have gathered in the Grampians wine village of Great Western to enjoy a day of thoroughbred racing, at the Seppelt Great Western Cup.

In 2026, guests are invited to experience the event from The Seppelt Circle, a reimagined trackside enclosure offering a relaxed yet elevated take on country racing. Set beneath the pines with sweeping views of the course, The Seppelt Circle includes a seated long lunch by Executive Chef Bryden Buckingham, premium Seppelt wines, a private bar, and access to a dedicated bookmaker.

The day begins on the lawns of Seppelt Great Western, with sparkling wine and canapés served on arrival. The newest vintage of the iconic Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz will be chilled and ready, and guests will be welcomed by their host before heading to the track.

From midday, a short stroll or shuttle takes guests to the racecourse, where their reserved seat awaits. The afternoon unfolds with generous food, flowing wine, and front row views of the Seppelt Great Western Cup.
