Windmill Point Picnic Area George Town

Windmill Point Picnic area is located in George Town and has a BBQ and a playground featuring a wooden boat named after the HMS Buffalo – the ship that Paterson landed in 1804.

The site also has tree sculptures depicting workmen hauling ashore the telegraph cable that linked Tasmania to the North Island.
