Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve is the ideal place to experience the Australian bush and enjoy magnificent scenery and landscapes. Get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most iconic native birds and animals including emus, koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wedge-tail eagles and other native Australian wildlife.
Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve is located at the heart of the spectacular Great Ocean Road region – the only wildlife reserve west of the popular Twelve Apostles and just ten minutes from the coastal tourism hub of Warrnambool. The Reserve sits inside a dormant volcano that has a spectacular eleven kilometre crater rim. The volcanic cones rise from a lake bed in a formation known as a ‘nested maar’, which was created by a series of volcanic eruptions and events over thousands of years. Tower Hill is one of the largest Maar Volcanos in the world.
Take a journey of discovery to the naturally diverse offering of the Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve.
