The Yarra Valley Cooking School offers small group, hands-on cooking sessions, in a purpose-built kitchen overlooking Mount Hope Estate vineyard and a beautiful vista of rolling hills.

Employing classic and simple techniques, participants will view demonstrations and be guided and encouraged in the preparation and presentation of seasonal French and Italian dishes over a three hour class.

Working singularly and in pairs, participants will learn to prepare, cook and serve a three-course meal which can be enjoyed at the end of the session, along with a glass of wine or soft drink in a friendly group atmosphere.

Social and work groups are welcome to enjoy bonding over a shared cooking experience tailored to the group’s particular requirements.

The Yarra Valley Cooking School is located in the premium Yarra Valley wine region in Victoria. Just eight minutes from the township of Yarra Glen along the Melba Highway, the location is a great jumping off point to visit a number of larger wineries and restaurants, Alowyn Gardens, Healesville Sanctuary and other popular tourist attractions.
