Stage 1 Ticket Release

Our new ships, Spirit of Tasmania IV and Spirit of Tasmania V, are getting closer. From today, tickets for sailings from 31 October 2026 through to 12 December will be released.

To ensure a smooth transition while maintaining our reliable service, we will open bookings in two stages.

Stage 1 – starting now

• Sailings from 31 October 2026 to 12 December.
• Cabins and recliners equivalent to what you see on our current ships.
• Extra space for vehicles.
• From January, sailings will be released as per our standard rolling 11-month schedule.

Stage 2 – by May 2026

The complete inventory of Spirit of Tasmania IV and Spirit of Tasmania V is expected to be on sale.

• The full range of new ship accommodation types, such as pet cabins, family cabins and business recliners across all available sailings.
• Increased capacity across cabins, recliners and vehicles.

What this means when you book

• More cabins, recliners and vehicle spaces will be added over time as we reach key project milestones.
• Our current ships will keep sailing as normal, so you can still book on our existing vessels.

Generally, our sailing schedule opens 11 months in advance, so if you cannot find your ideal date yet, it is worth checking back as more sailings are released.
